  • Electronic items: We require a document from the brand/OEM’s service centre confirming that the delivered item was defective. We will carry out a quality check to validate the complaint before processing any request for refund/replacement. Returns/replacements will be accepted for only those items which are found to be faulty/ defective.
  • Items that you return should not be used, washed, altered/tampered or soiled. All original packing, labels, tags, leaflets, manuals, warranty/guarantee cards, freebies, accessories such as belts, locks, straps, etc. should be intact. The courier will not accept your item in absence of these.
  • Some items are bound by the brand’s specific policies regarding repair, exchange and returns. These policies will be binding on the customer.
  • Replacements will depend on the availability of the item.
  • Refund or replacement will be initiated after the pick-up of product.
  • Automobile Products (two-wheelers, four-wheelers and Commercial Vehicles) cannot be cancelled or returned.
  • Snapdeal Gift Vouchers are not returnable or refundable for cash.
  • Items sold as sets/combos cannot be exchanged or returned individually.
  • Only replacements are possible for CDs, DVDs and precious jewellery. Please return these items in tamper-proof packaging.

Note:

  • In case the replacement item is out of stock, we will refund your amount.
  • Items with locks/passwords should be returned unlocked/disabled.

We will initiate refund to the following modes once your item is received by us or the seller:

* Some partners may offer you the option to pay with a credit/debit card upon delivery/pickup. Refunds for such payments will be via NEFT transfer to your bank account or can be refunded to your FreeCharge Balance.

Important:

  • If you return an item which costs Rs 10,000 or less, we will refund the amount to your FreeCharge Balance.
  • We may request for information/documents to verify your credentials before initiating the refund.
  • If the payment mode has expired or is no longer valid, we will refund you one of the modes mentioned above.

  • How can I return the item received from Snapdeal?

    If you want to return/replace a product on Snapdeal, please follow these steps:

    1. Create a return/replacement request online. You can replace the product bought on Snapdeal within 7-days of delivery.
    2. Login to your Snapdeal Account and go to MY ORDERS section.
    3. Select the item you wish to replace and click on the Return/Replace link against the order.
    4. Choose return/replacement option and fill in the required details.
    5. Once the return/replacement request is created, we will ensure that it is processed as soon as possible.
  • What if Snapdeal’s courier partner doesn’t serve my location?

    In case we are unable to arrange a reverse pickup for you, we’ll inform you and request you to return the item via any other courier. We will refund the full courier amount in SD cash up to Rs. 400

  • I bought an item but it does not fit my size, can I get it replaced?

  • If I receive a physically damaged item, can I get it replaced?

    Delivery is usually safe, but, if you receive a faulty item, you can return/replace it by creating a return request online.

  • What do I do if item received is different from the description on Snapdeal?

  • What is identified as faulty item?

    When the delivered item has a physical damage, is defective or is not working as per the description given on the website, the item can be returned as a faulty item. The faulty item will be collected from your location within 4 working days. Post receiving the item and inspecting it we shall initiate sending you the new item.

  • What if I choose to have replacement and the item is sold out on Snapdeal?

    Replacements are made basis availability of the item on the website. If the item is not available on the website, we’ll initiate refund after your confirmation.

  • How do I place a cancellation request on Snapdeal?

    If you wish to cancel your order, please follow these steps:     

    1. Create a cancellation request online.
    2. Click on the Cancel link against your order in the MY ORDERS section in My Account.
    3. Choose cancellation option and fill in the required details.
    4. Once the cancellation request is created, we will ensure that the cancellation is processed on priority.
    5. *Cancellation requests can be raised at any time before the shipping of the order. Once the order is cancelled, we will refund your prepaid amount as per our Return Policy.
