1.       What is 12 months Accidental Damage Protection for Mobile and Tablets (0 – 5000) from Snapdeal.com?

Accidental Damage Protection is effectively a Comprehensive Service Support Policy designed to protect the owner from the cost of repairs which is not covered by the manufacturer. 12 Months Accidental Damage Protection for Mobile and Tablets protects your device with all damages, spills, drops and more for 12 months, which the manufacturer will say “No” to provide support.

 

2.       What all is covered under Accidental Damage Protection?

a)   Your product is covered for mechanical and electrical failure.

b)  Coverage includes water spillage, power burns, accidental drop/damage, failure due to accidental damage, power issues like device no power, no light, damaged or defective buttons or connectivity ports located on your device, broken dock connector port, charging port, screen issues, white lines or total blackouts, power surge/fluctuation, normal wear and tear, normal repairs or normal dysfunctional parts replacement

c)   All Parts Covered including Screen, Speaker, Camera, Ports, and Buttons / Includes coverage of cost of labour, components and internal spare parts which are standard to the product at the time of device purchase.

d)    Normal wear and tear and environmental factors such as heat, dust, and humidity are not covered.

e)   You are entitled to ONE time repair during 12 months Accidental Damage Protection coverage period. If your product fails, contact us and we will repair it or replace it with an equivalent product at our sole discretion, which will be non-debatable.

f)     Your mobile phones or tablets are repaired at a WarrantyBazaar.Com authorised service centre near you.

h)     Your Accidental Damage Protection is non-transferable to subsequent users of the Mobile Phone or Tablet registered. 

 

 

3.       Where do I go to get my Mobile Phone or Tablet repaired?

Any service centre authorised by WarrantyBazaar can repair your mobile phone or tablet. To find authorised service centre nearest to you Authorised Service Centre Call us at Toll Free Number 1-800-102-9991. Service support is available only in India.

 

 

4.       What is not covered?

a)   Any loss due to attempting Software upgrade or installation of third party applications etc.

b)   Accessories like battery, charger, memory card, SIM/UIM card, cables etc.

c)  Any form of Accidental damage/mechanical and electrical failures caused in malfunctioning of the device due Dust, internal overheating, and internal humidity/condensation, cover part which is Non-functional, defects (display, discharging, overheating, virus infection, software error etc).

d)    Any loss due to act of God, Fire, Flood, War, Earthquake, Act of Violence, Stolen, lost, or any other similar occurrences.

e)   It does not cover if Model Number or Serial Number sticker of the Mobile phone or Tablet is removed, altered, damaged, defaced, smudged or erased unless valid proof of manufacturer is furnished denoting such changes.

f)   If the Model Number or Serial Number sticker of product is not matching with our collected data which were captured during registration or stored information in the Mobile phone or Tablet then Accidental Damage Protection will be null and void.

g)  Any attempt to open Mobile phone/Tablet or repair by unauthorised service centre or repair by unauthorised service personnel.

h)  Any loss due to virus, short circuit, explosion of battery, non-compatible accessory used by customer.

i)   More than one time repair protection is not covered.

 

5.       Under what circumstances will my Accidental Damage Protection be Void?

a) In case Model Number or Serial Number or Part Number sticker of the device is removed, altered, damaged, defaced, smudged or erased unless valid proof of under warranty service by manufacturer is furnished denoting such changes.

b) If the Model Number or Serial Number or Part Number sticker of product is not matching with our collected data which were captured during registration or stored information in the device then warranty will be null and void unless valid proof of under warranty service by manufacturer is furnished denoting such changes.

c) Unauthorised personnel or Service Centre attempted to repair the device.

d) Required documents are not provided.

e) Reason for device failure is excluded from the coverage as mentioned in the Terms and Conditions of Accidental Damage Protection.

f) After getting one repair service from WarrantyBazaar.

g) In case the service support was taken in any other country except India.

 

6.       What kind of parts are used for Accidental Damage Protection repairs?

Only high quality parts sourced from verified suppliers will be used. All parts are internally tested to ensure only best quality is provided. Repairs are performed by WarrantyBazaar Authorised Repair Service Personnel.

 

7.       How many Warranty Service can I make within 12 months of coverage of Accidental Damage Protection?

Only one time service you can make within 12 months of coverage period.

 

8.       What happens if my Mobile Phone or Tablet cannot be repaired?

In that case, it will be replaced with an equivalent product at our sole discretion, which will be non-debatable.
