The HTC Wildfire S succeeds the previously launched HTC Wildfire. However, with Wildfire S, HTC have plugged the loopholes pointed at its predecessor like an enhanced screen resolution and processor. TheWildfire S is a full touch mobile phone that comes with the latest version of the Android operating system, the Gingerbread (Android 2.3). This HTC smartphone is powered by a 600 MHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor and has 512 MB of RAM onboard.
The HTC Wildfire S sports a 3.2-inch TFT screen with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, which is a step ahead from the measly 240 x 320 pixel resolution of the Wildfire. Like other HTC devices, the Wildfire S is also adorned with the proprietary Sense UI that brings in new features like improved settings in the notification bar and updating of your app drawer as per items downloaded. Also Friend Stream feature in the UI brings all the updates of your friends on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Flickr together in one screen.
A 5 megapixel camera is loaded into the Wildfire S with auto focus and LED flash capabilities, allowing images shot in low light to be clearer and less grainy. You can also record videos through the phone camera at 24 fps.
Design
This Android device has a metallic finish and small frame making it fit snugly into your palms or pockets. Weighing 105 g, the TFT capacitive touchscreen of the Wildfire S supports 256 K colors and features the regular sensors such as accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
Storage and Battery
The HTC handset ships with internal memory of 512 MB. The Wildfire S is compatible with microSD 2.0 card, using which the memory of the phone can be expanded up to 32 GB. It's a good mobile phone it's only draw back is the battery life (problem with all androids if ur a heavy net user) and speaker volume. Overall good phone for a college student or a working professional. Recommend you to download what's app and use Facebook over the net the app is too slow and week they come up with an upgrade which occupies a lot of space

HTC Wildfire S is a good phone if I have to talk about the things that I like and dislike then I would list down both these things.
Things I like are:
• Its design and look
• Its 5 mega pixel camera and high quality video recording
• Large display
• Video player
• GPS navigation with google maps
Things that I don't like
• It is quite heavy and I feel quite uncomfortable in carrying it in my pocket.
• The battery doesn't last very long. It offers so many features and this is why I thought that it would offer great battery backup but unfortunately it is just like all other android phones.
• The call connect button is quite confusing initially.

HTC Wildfire S is my latest mobile phone and I a simply amazed at its performance. It is android based phone and this is why it has all the features of an android phone. It is fast and I am able to use the phone without worrying about the quality of the phone. Though I don't even know about all the features but I think that this phone will perform with lot of reliability. HTC phones are backed by the brand value and this is why I went ahead and bought online. I can access facebook and twitter and stay connected with the friend.

If you have got a chance to see and use HTC Wildfire S then you simply can't ignore its camera. The camera is not just a simple camera but it has numerous features including auto focus mechanism, LED flash, geo tagging and face detection. You can click beautiful and bright pictures using this phone and that too without compromising on the quality of the pictures. LED flash technology makes sure that you get bright pictures even in the dim lights. It has expandable memory of 32 GB and this is why I now plan to create my personal albums.
