Synopsis
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes place about a century previous to the events of 'A Game of Thrones'. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a compilation of the foremost three official prequel novellas to George R. R. Martin's current masterpiece, A Song of Ice and Fire. These adventures narrate an age when the Targaryen line is still holding on the Iron Throne. At the same time, the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living consciousness. Dunk and Egg came before Tyrion Lannister and Podrick Payne. Ser Duncan the Tall is a young, naive and courageous knight who competes with his rivels in stature if not in experience. A boy called egg is tagged along Dunk, who in his diminutive squire is hidden from all this boy and Dunk encounter. Great destinies are lined up for these two any improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros and so does the powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits. This book is iIllustrated by the wonderful Gary Gianni, best known for his work on PRINCE VALIANT.

George R.R. Martin, who lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a writer of fourteen novels. He has also written many collections of short stories, several screen plays for television dramas and feature films.
