Material and Design
The red colour meter is designed in a way that it easily measures moisture content in wall board, wood or other building materials. Typical application also include checking moisture of concrete slab and wood before installation of floors, determining wood moisture content during drying process, and checking wood moisture before material is used for woodworking applications. The measurement ranges are as follows: Wood/ Paper: 8- 60% Building material: 0.3 - 2.0%. The temperature required is 0DegC - 40DegC. The LCD display provides moisture or temperature measurement accurately. There are three colours LED that provides the results of quick moisture indication as- Green - air-dry conditions Yellow - increased moisture Red - excess moisture. A backlight is provided for operation in dark areas. It indicates when the battery is low and there is a function of auto off too. The accuracy of the meter are as follows: -Wood: ±2%, Building material: ±0.1%. The power of the battery is 9V, 6F22.
