In 2025 modern technology takes centrestage with unmanned vehicles, robotics and cyber warfare. China bans the export of rare earth elements and Raul Menendez uses the current tension between the 2 super powers to incite a full-blown war. Los Angeles and Yemen are known locations for this section of Black Ops II. The branching storylines in Black Ops II lets the gamer make choices that will affect both the current and overall course of the story. Special Strike Force missions are offered to the gamer during the campaign which in turn locks the storyline based on the choice made. Alternate Strike Force missions can be tried only if the gamer begins a fresh campaign. The Strike Force missions allow the gamer to control a number of wartime assets such as an unmanned aerial vehicles, jet fighters and robots. The popular Zombies mode will make a return in Call Of Duty: Black Ops II with the implementation of the multiplayer engine that can support up to 8 players in co-op mode. The multiplayer Zombies mode allow for a deeper community experience along with new game modes. The game supports online multiplayer mode, Co-Op mode and Online Leaderboards to show where you stand in the rankings. The technical features support 16:9 aspect ratio, 480p, 720p and Dolby Digital Audio with Mic/Headset features. The Downloadable content for the game is expected to be released for all systems at the same time.
