CM Storm Sentinel Advance II 8200DPI Gaming Mice features the large ergonomic mouse body which many have come to adore. It almost merges with your hand in your palm grip. The gaming mouse is lightweight, ergonomically designed and forged with a reassuringly solid design. Thanks to its 128KB on-board memory, Sentinel Advance II lets you store several mouse profiles and their assigned macros on the mouse itself. MMO Players will be glad to hear that the Sentinel Advance II supports CM Storm TactiX, assigning functions to combinations of mouse buttons and the mouse wheel. As a result a vast amount of commands and macros can be programmed to its 8 buttons. Sentinels Advanced Driver Panel lets you create detailed Macros and Scripts, including commands to move the mouse pointer to predefined coordinates on your Display. No other Mouse on the market supports Macros so powerfully and in such a detailed manner!

Not the best buy but amazingly impressiv

I've been using this mouse for over a year with a razer goliathus control mouse pad. It's a palm grip mouse, works for finger tip grip if you have large hands not for claw grippers PROS: * Really Responsive buttons (Probably mechanical). * Good build quality (not the best), Gold plated USB (will wear off with use), Braided cable (Doesn't fray like many people claim, not with humane use at least) *The wide DPI range gives you absolute versatility whatever you style is. I use the 200-1600 DPI for graphic designing, 800-6400 range for normal use, 600-4000 range for Strategy games & 400-8200 DPI for FPS games. * This mouse works on most surface, with the exception of clear glass and the likes, but you won't be able to use the 3200+ DPI without a decent mousepad, which might also damage you Teflon mouse feet. * Really low lift-off distance * 5 profiles (4 customisable), really useful * Macro/Script support, but I only use Macro. (eg: I programmed the Cmd+Mouse wheel to adjust volume in my custom Desktop profile) * The quick DPI switch, again really useful. * The weight adjustment gives you a nice balance, the lowest is too light for me and the highest gives me pain in the wrist, 2 weights work well. * Nice display on the top which shows you your current settings, and your logo if you prefer. * Great ergonomics * Good experience with the customer support. * Got a lotta colored LEDs, don't remember how many colors... i only use them to indicate which profile I'm using. A welcome feature. * Can't remember more, using this mouse has become a second nature to me, I get more Pros every time I use any other mouse. CONS: * The software UI is too complicated, maybe a redesign would do it some good. * The command button had some problem so i had replaced my mice, but the 2nd one had the same problem and after 4 months (Warranty over) the mid click stopped working. I later found out a firmware update fixed the command button issue, and i had replaced the product unnecessarily... -1 star for this. * Lack of programmable buttons, had this problem initially, but now used to it. * At start, I also had problems with the different and humongous shape of the mouse, took me a week or two to adjust. * Not ambidextrous, left handed friend can't use it * The serial no. at the bottom wears off, better click a pic of it after you buy it!!! Bottom Line- You might regret buying it at first, but you won't even realise it becoming your best companion. Amazing mouse, you get to use all the DPI range.
