Davidoff is a Swiss luxury goods brand name, which is carried by a range of products including cigars, cigarettes, and pipe tobaccos. Zino Davidoff was born on March 11, 1906 in Kiev, capital of Ukraine, then a part of Czarist Russia. His family moved to Geneva in 1911. After his baccalaureate degree he left on a long journey through South and Central America which left a lasting impact on his life. Once back in Geneva, being the eldest son he was given the charge of his father’s business in 1930. Quarter of a century later, he became internationally renowned. His store's client list included the famous and elite like actors, writers and politicians. Zino Davidoff’s philosophy was to embrace life and cultures across the continents in a quest for the best.
He entered the world of fragrances with the creation of Cool Water in 1991. Water, one of life s simplest but most stimulating sensations, was the inspiration behind Davidoff s first scent. Good Life, once again creating a whole new fragrance category - the symbolic aromatic. The start of Cool Water Woman followed in 1997, and in 1999 Davidoff introduced its third fragrance.
