You are given a new life through mechanical augmentation, but you are not done yet. You have to find out why the secrets were stolen, and who is behind all this. Every step you take, every decision you make, will affect the game process. Are you ready to take the risk and win it all? Developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix, Human Revolution brings in an array of new gameplay features. Improving on the previous games Deus Ex introduces a different type of game mechanics. Throughout the game it is you who decides what to do. From simple jobs as deciding which door to open to enter into a building to infiltrating into a warehouse, you are in complete control of your actions. The scenarios in the game change for each situation. Depending upon your choice, you may get caught while unlocking a door or sneak in smoothly without the guard noticing by using the stealth option. The game’s levels are designed intelligently and beg you to be creative at each corner. You will be experimenting a lot, thinking twice about which move would profit me the most. The game runs on its own wavelength and as it progresses you will acquire a sense of what works and what does not. You will get deeply involved with the story as each mission is different and opens up a different angle towards the main story. The player has 4 key skills that he can use to progress through the game. These are Combat, Stealth, Hacking, and Social. Each skill is important and can be easily switched back and forth as needed. Sometimes these skills have to be used in an appropriate order to get the result you want. The player is equipped with Augmentations that provide him with superhuman characteristics. This is effective in a variety of ways like combat and other modes. The game allows functions such as Hacking. Hacking is an interesting feature as it involves a mini-game which you have to successfully finish, completing the process of hacking. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is all about freedom. You can do whatever you want and the story will progress according your actions, giving you tremendous replay value. Every mission completed will earn you Praxis points. These points can be used to unlock and upgrade new abilities. Human Revolution is large and if you want to explore each hidden secret within the game, you can easily play it for 40-45 hours. The game has good graphics but the highlight is its sound. The soundtrack is amazing as it syncs seamlessly with the game’s intensity.
