The Focal KIT 30A1 12 inch (30 cm) subwoofers are packed to the hilt with features. The speaker is housed in an MDF vented box which is 16mm thick with internal absorbent material/ With a 50mm voice coil with four layers, the subwoofer provides for high power handling to allow you to connect it directly to your car audio system or to an external in-car amplifier. The large NBR surround provides excellent reliability. The speaker has a braided glass-fibre cone which provides dynamic bass and is humidity resistant to provide better sound and longer life. The sub-woofer has a profiled port to reduce chuffing noise to a minimum. It has a maximum power output of 500W with a frequency response band of 40Hz to 500Hz.
