The device is not compatible with Google play. Google play cannot be installed nor can I install any app from android market. Instead it has its own app store from HCL where most of the apps like temple run is not available. Even the available apps doesn't work. Thankfully I purchased it for viewing PDF & Word otherwise I'd have get it returned. If HCL allows Google Play to work in this then its awesome otherwise its awful.

got this product some days ago i buy it from ur site well in terms of looks is a good tablet but one thing i didn't like that no google market in it thats dissappointing and the colour of my hcl u1 is black & also u mentioned in the product review that it has got 4gb internal memory but it has only got 2 gb what do i call it last but not least what kind of charger is this it different as compared to other u1 chargers what did u sell me then hnmmmm

A Stupid product, does not have Google app store installed on it that means you cannot download any of the applications from Google play. HCL needs to get a licence from Google to get app store on this device, but they were adamant to make a cheap stuff,while other tabs like Micromax do have app store installed on them. HCL have included their own "HCL App" application in which half of them do not work and almost all of them are non update-able. Auto rotate do not work on desktop screens but works for applications. Good thing is that the touch feature is good,general operations are smooth,looks are good and handy to hold. I would thank HCL if they can get app store installed on it, otherwise a good value for money device.

a better tablet provided by HCL at this price point is such a good deal.and such a good service given by snapdeal. i want to recommends this tablet to all the viewers as you get lots of feature and get a experiance of smooth touch.
