The HTC ChaCha is an amalgamation of the new age touchscreen and the classic PDA QWERTY Keypad. The phone is powered by an Android Operating system and features a bundle of high tech connectivity, multimedia, and productivity features. This smartphone is armed with a dedicated key for Facebook sharing, so you can instantly share your favourite pictures, videos, status update, geographic locations with your friends and stay connected with them 24 x 7.

The Friend Stream feature - lets you see all your friends' Facebook updates, Tweets, and Flickr photos on the same screen. The phone also has in-built Facebook Chat so you can be connected 24 x 7. Powered by Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating system and an 800 MHz Processor, the HTC ChaCha comes with an internal memory of 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, included memory card of 2GB, and micro SD slots for expandable memory up to 32 GB. It is equipped with a range of connectivity options like GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity etc. It also has inbuilt A-GPS with Google maps for error-free navigation. A number of high tech sensors are encompassed in this phone like Accelerometer, Digital Compass, Proximity Sensor and Ambient Light Sensor, making the user experience interactive, fun and personally customized.

Design and build quality - The body of the HTC ChaCha is slightly curved in shape, has charming looks, and a nice rounded shape that is easy to hold and operate. The silver colour of the body makes the phone professional looking and perfect for corporate environments. It can be definitely flaunted as a fashion statement in itself. It measures 64.6 x 114.4 x 10.7 mm and weighs 124 grams. The touchscreen measures 2.6 inch (6.6cm) and is of the capacitive type with a HVGA resolution of 480 x 320 Pixels.

With a dedicated QWERTY keyboard featuring well balanced raised keys, the HTC ChaCha lets you send out your messages quickly and easily. The touchscreen is also equipped with the HTC Sense technology.

Camera Features - Armed with a 5 mega pixel camera and features like LED Flash, Autofocus, Geo-tagging, and video recording, the phone is perfect for clicking pictures and shooting videos of your special moments and important events. You can also instantly share them with your friends and family on social networking websites as well. A secondary camera of 0.3 Megapixel resolution is also provided with the phone so that you can connect to your friends through video calls and video chats.

Hardware Specifications - Important functionalities provided in the HTC ChaCha are People Centric communications that organizes your calls, messages, and updates by people, not by applications; Customizable home screen ensures you have instant access to all your favourite applications. I feel I've doe a blunder. coz this phoe has only poor internal memory. So unable to install atleast few applications too from the net. So whats the benefit to using a android. Its waste.
