About the ProgramThe Investment Banking program consists of two individual courses:
1. PE M&A and Structured Finance (Training + Certification): This covers the entire Private Equity life cycle. It also includes an overview of M&As (Mergers and Acquisitions), and a section on Project Finance.
For this course, the training and Certification Exam will be provided by FLIP.
2. Issue Management (Training): This covers the detailed issuance process of Equities - IPOs and FPOs, Bonds, CPs and FCCBs. It takes you step by step through the entire process, with timelines and the regulatory requirements.
For Issue Management course, only training is provided by FLIP and the Certification Exam is conducted by NSE (National Stock Exchange).
On completing this training course, you will be eligible to take up the Issue Management certification module conducted by NSE, for which you have to pay Rs. 1686/-(inclusive of taxes) as certification fee, at NSE website.
Once you clear this exam, you will get a joint FLIP-NCFM certification in Issue Management
Note: In order to get the FLIP investment Banking certificate, candidate has to clear both of the above certifications within a period of 6 month from the date of clearing first Certification Exam. (Candidate may appear for exams in any order)

2. Issue Management :Initial Public Offering - Issuance Process, Drafting the Offer Document, Marketing, Launch & Completion of Issuance, Types of Depository Receipts (DRs), Issuance Process of Depository Receipts, Issuance Procedure for Commercial Paper, Bonds/Debentures - The Issuance Process.
Certification Exam
For PE M&A and Structured Finance FLIP Certification Exam: On completion of the course, candidate will have to appear for the Certification Exam, at any of our 26 test centers across India. It will be a 2 hour online exam with MCQs and negative marking. The result is given on the spot.
For FLIP-NCFM Issue Management Certification Exam: On completion of the course, candidate may write the test in any of the NSE centers across India.
