The JBL CS-1215B subwoofer box gives your car powerful low-frequency sound. With 275 watts continuous power handling and 1100 watts at peak, the box can generate very high volume. The 35Hz – 200Hz frequency response of its 12-inch (300-millimetre) polypropylene woofer cone covers virtually the entire range of bass tones. The speaker’s shape and size – just 16-1/6 inches (408 millimetres) in its largest dimension – can fit into almost any car. And a handsome aluminium grille protects the speaker’s driver. In every way, the CS-1215 is a grand addition to a car audio system.
25 - 1100 watts suggested amplifier range
The CS1215B subwoofer offers more audio muscle than many other car subwoofers. It’s designed to produce strong, clear sound from a head-unit or amplifier capable of delivering up to 1100 watts of power, making it an ideal match to systems powered with head-unit or factory-amplifier power levels, or even with many of the JBL amplifier combinations. And its great power-handling specifications also increase reliability over the lifetime of the subwoofer.
Clean design and meticulous construction
There’s more to the CS1215B’s exterior than its sleek shape. Its handsome aluminium grille provides high woofer-cone protection. The grille is made of only two bars rather than the customary mesh screen, but those two bars get the job done and look distinctive.
The CS-1215B is easy to install in your car and connect to your car’s head unit. We’ve sized the speaker to fit into a variety of vehicles, and we’ve included an illustrated manual that shows how to put the speaker in and hook it up. You won’t have to wait long to enjoy your favourite music.
Wide frequency response
If you want bass that ranges from deep and low up to the edge of the middle frequencies, the CS1215 is the subwoofer for you. It responds to frequencies as low as 35Hz and as high as 200Hz. No matter what bass notes your favourite recordings play, the CS1215 will bring them to you exactly as the musicians played them.
The JBL legacy of sound
JBL sound systems serve thousands of movie theatres, recording studios and concert halls. JBL systems have a sterling reputation in car audio, too: Since 1996, Toyota vehicles have rolled off the assembly line bearing JBL sound. The CS-1215B proudly carries on this rich legacy.
