The JBL GT-X1250T is a 12-inch (300-millimetre) bass-reflex subwoofer tube, featuring a peak power-handling rating of 1250 watts and an RMS rating of 310 watts. The GT-X1250T’s computer-optimized, proprietary Slipstream port design reduces noise, and its frequency response of 35Hz to 200Hz, impedance rating of 4 ohms and sensitivity of 90 decibels at 2.83 volts / 1 metre provide deep, rich, powerful bass. This monstrous bass tube is compact, handsome and easy to install – but its biggest advantage is its clear, accurate, muscular sound.
25 – 1250 watts suggested amplifier range
The GT-X1250T subwoofer offers more audio muscle than many other car subwoofers. It’s designed to produce strong, clear sound from a head-unit or amplifier capable of delivering up to 1250 watts of power, making it an ideal match to systems powered with head-unit or factory-amplifier power levels, or even with many of the JBL amplifier combinations. And its great power-handling specifications also increase reliability over the lifetime of the subwoofer.
Slipstream bass port
Bass ports reduce distortion by venting the pressure that the normal movement of the woofer cone builds up inside a subwoofer enclosure. The flared shape of the GT-X1250T’s Slipstream port vents this pressure more effectively than standard cylindrical ports – and allows for increased bass output without chuffing or distortion.
High-power driver with improved voice coil
The GT-X1250T features a 12-inch (300 millimetre) woofer cone and large voice coil. Together, they’re capable of reproducing both lightning-fast transient sounds and sustained low notes for heightened realism and excitement.
