Body/Construction
The Joby GorillaPod SLR Zoom & Ball Head Bundle is made from Japanese ABS plastic, which is of very high quality. The rubber grip rings are made of German TPE rubber that is long-lasting and damage-proof. The tripod has over 24 leg joints altogether, each of which can bend and rotate 360 degrees to wrap around and adapt to any kind of surface from tree branches to rocks to door handles. The rubberised foot grips on each foot of the minipod are larger and designed like those of normal tripods, but in a ball-like shape, to make them more adaptive.

Quick Release Plate/ Quick Release Lever
The ball head of the joby gorillapod has quick release capability. The quick release plate combined with a quick release clip, allows you to mount and dismount your camera on and off the tripod head swiftly, letting you change over to handheld photography if you need to, easily.
