It is a pathetic p...

It is a pathetic product. The tab get cracked only after 2 days of use. Trying to contact the service center, said that the it is not cover under warranty and it will get repaired on payment basis. I am also trying to contact the Karboon Area Service Incharge, Mr. Rudra Patnaik, he is not picking up the phone.

The company and its products are pathetic and useless.

I am strongly recommend not to sell this product.

This is good for home use with Wifi. Few disadvantages of are as follows:

1. it has limited USB support. It means you have to buy data card only based on the provided drivers in the smart tab-2.

2. It won't detect all the data cards like Tataphoto 3g data card with 7.2 mbps or aircel data card or bsnl data card.

3. USB port is not available directly it is a not good choice.

4. For HDMI you have to buy separate cable.

5. Touch screen at times not pointing properly. but has ok performance.

6. Many softwares are not supported by this device in google play store.

7. Good only for home use and not for commerical or professional purpose.

It is good for your kids to learn in the home and for kids to play.

I got it around month back. & I am really impressed with its features and nice build quality. It feels like a the expensive tablets while handling,

Screen response is good without and scratches guard. But once you put a scratch guard provided in the box you start feel a small lag in response. Color clarity is not so rich... you can see small portion of colors while playing HD video or high resolution image.

Battery back up is very good. I saw movie for 2 hrs. And it still shows as 60 % battery remains,

Inbuilt camera is only useful for video chat as the picture quality is very poor.

In build video player is not so user-friendly, so try to install 3rd party which actually works well.

It does not support all USB 3G modem. E.g. Vodafone...

Cant install 3rd party browsers like opera mini, chrome, Firefox, UC browser, though it has KARBONN own Browser. But still it feels like Stone Age technology,

Also many of the app on Google Play shows as incompatible on your device.

Internet over Wi-Fi is amazing. You can view YouTube videos without a glitch.

Overall I am really impressed with the build quality and features as it does support Google play though not all the appsï?degrees

But when you compare it with other same price level Tablets it really stand out and feels much better.

Hi, I among one of...

Hi, I among one of the first users of Karbonn Smart Tab 2. It looked good in first appearance. But disappointed when was not able to connect my Tata Photon plus in it (although the same was listed in supported device list). I contacted Service centers for resolution of problem. During software installation by service engineer, the screen blocked out and the answer was there's some problem. It's been more than 20 days and my Karbonn Smart Tab 2 is still with Service centre/ company for replacement/ problem resolution.

My suggestion..very poor product and response from company/service centers.

product is good but I am sorry to wite that I failed to operate my tablet with mblaze dongle, I contacted MTS outlet, they also failed. Thereafter I contaced authorised service centre at Siliguri, tilldate it has not been handed over to me. Preetimoy.

It's built on MIPS Xburst so lot of apps are not supported on this tablet including Chrome, Firefox, Skype and Angry Birds too.

Very slow in performance, hangs a lot and mine is now a brick. Does not even boot up. The service center guys are not helpful either.

Stay Away.
