You simply have to insert a capsule into the holder, twist to lock into the machine and press the brew button. It comes with a semi-auto design, which means that it will continue to brew until you press the button again to stop the pump at your desired volume.

The built-in steam wand of the Lavazza Coffee Maker Espresso Point EP850 provides plenty of steam to froth milk for cappuccino or latte; just press the steam button and hold until the ready light indicates the proper internal temperature has been reached and then open the valve to begin steaming.
