For the first time in its eleven year history leaves Medal of Honor, the scenario of the 2nd World War II and enters the modern arena of war-torn Afghanistan seen through the eyes of various soldiers of today. The central element of the players are the Tier 1 Operators, hand-picked elite and relatively unknown instrument of the U.S. military, acting under the command of the National Command Authority and execute missions that no one else can handle, and that must not fail. Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform out of which about 50,000 of the direct command of the Special Operations.
The Tier 1 Operators act on one level apart from all the other special units. Their number is limited to a few hundred, the exact number of top secret. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war, experts in the use of force. Medal of Honor is inspired by Tier-1 operators and elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and use their unique abilities to survive against a new enemy in the most dangerous and hostile war zones today, Afghanistan. There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior, Tier 1.
