Nintendo Wii with Wii Sports White

Nintendo's latest gaming console, the Nintendo Wii has changed added technology and innovation to create a new landscape in video-gaming. With its motion sensing capabilities, the Wii will attract both casual as well as hard-core gamers.

The Wii is powered by an IBM PowerPC processor. The gaming console is powered by ATI Hollywood Graphics processor and contains 512MB of internal memory to save game data. The Wii is backwards compatible with Nintendo GameCube discs and the self-loading bay is able to play in both kinds of discs. The Wii also has various entertainment options like the Mii channel, Internet Channel Wii Shop, Virtual Console and so on. The console also has a web browser designed by Opera.

The Wii is powered by a power adapter, while the controllers require 2 AA batteries. It has a SD card slot, Game Disc slot and 2 USB ports, AV Output, Sensor bar connector and 4 GameCube controller ports with 2GameCube memory card slots. The console is equipped with Bluetooth and is Wi-Fi enabled to connect to the internet. It can also connect to Nintendo DS consoles wirelessly.

Gameplay is done through the Wii Remote with the D-Pad and 2 buttons, resembling a television remote and the Nunchuk, a complex controller with motion and gesture detection as well an analogue controller.
