Orpat PTC Heater OPH- 1240

When the temperature was really low (about 8 degrees Celsius) this Heater kept me alive. Well, it took some good time about 3 to 4 hours to heat up my room to an extent I wouldn't freeze. But I still had to wear my winter cloths. Don't think this will bring Summer! But if it is about 8 degrees in your other rooms, this one will heat it upto 12 degrees for comfort. Also the swivel or the rotation of the unit helps spread the heat all around. The only con is that you need to shut off your Fridge socket to plug in the 15AMPS plug in. So your room should have the big sockets like that of AC, Water Heaters and Fridge.

Does not occupy a lot of space.
Adequate cable length.
Warms a 15 x 12 room effectively.
Warming time approximately 30 minutes on Max setting.
A useful safety feature is the auto shut off in case the heater gets knocked down accidently. A must have feature if you have kids or pets in the house.
A must have for temperatures between 10 to 20 degrees. The Heater may not be adequate for extreme temperatures. You would be better off with a oil based heater.
