Parrot Zikmu Solo consists of Integrated Bluetooth and NFC. With its help you can stream your favourite songs from any Bluetooth device. The NFC technology, enables pairing with a simple gesture. You can put your Smartphone next to the Zikmu Solo and a connection between the two devices can be created quickly, with music passing from the Smartphone to the speaker. (Only works with NFC compatible Smartphones that include this feature and are running the Android OS version 4.1 or above)
It also has integrated Wi-Fi/n, the standard, universal wireless technology, which allows you to browse through various audio sources and get high-quality sound. You get an option for fast Wi-Fi synchronisation, which enables an instant connection with routers equipped with WPS by pressing both buttons simultaneously.
Easy Mode - The Easy Mode feature allows you add the Zikmu Solo to your Wi-Fi network with a simple click. Press the WPS button on your router, select Easy Mode and your Zikmu Solo will be added to your Wi-Fi network automatically.
Wi-Fi network list - You can also refer to the list of available Wi-Fi networks, select the network of your choice and connect to it by entering your security code if required.
Create your network - It helps you create your own network in order to set up a direct connection between your computers and your Zikmus.
UPnP You can browse through the playlists on the devices connected to your Wi-Fi network and send your audio files to the Zikmu Solo using UPnP and DLNA protocols.
The parrot audio suite, allows the users to adjust the audio as per their choice and preference. As everyone is different, and have different likes, every user should be able to adjust the many available audio settings to suit their own taste. Parrot Audio Suite (PAS) application does not only let you make these adjustments, but also allows you to browse through any of the audio sources connected to the Zikmu Solo. This free application is offered from the App Store and Google Play. All of Parrot s multimedia products are adaptable; they can be changed as the technology changes. You get an update feature ensuring continuous improvement with a simple click.
Audio configuration - In this menu, the 'Room size' option lets you adjust the Zikmu Solo audio settings based on the size of the room in which you have the set up. This option lets you enhance the acoustics based on the position of your Zikmu Solo in the room.
Volume management this option lets you - Adjust the speaker volume, Activate or deactivate the Bass Extender option and Activate or deactivate the Ramp Up option.
Source volume - This allows you to correct the volume of each connected source (by -10dB to +10dB).
Bluetooth - This displays the list of Bluetooth devices paired with the Zikmu Solo and lets you delete any saved devices.
System This option lets you - Rename your Zikmu Solo, Activate automatic updates (check the installed software version and whether a more recent version is available), Consult the online user manual and Check the installed application version.
The integrated Ethernet port at the base of the Zikmu Solo permits you to extend your home network with complete security, reliability and stability to those areas which are not covered by Wi-Fi.
