This mixer grinder requires 500 Watts of power to run. Compared to its grinding capacity this is an excessive amount of power consumption. The power consumption would not have irked so much had the motor been equally powerful, but the motor is not so powerful and the mixer grinder cannot work with more than a basic amount of ingredients.
If I want to process a large amount of ingredients like when there are guests in the house, I have to process the ingredients in batches. This takes up a lot of time and hence makes this otherwise convenient appliance a little inconvenient.

My earlier mixer grinder was really bulky and took up a lot of space for storage.
However, the Philips mixer grinder has a very compact design which does not take up too much space on the kitchen working table and nor does it take up too much space in the storage cupboard.

An Indian kitchen requires a lot of wet and dry grinding. What with all the spices from red chilly powder to turmeric to the aromatic spices added in almost all recipes.
