Driven by powerful Class D amplification, the SC-XL57 produces a continuous 190 W output per channel, allowing you to enjoy your music with maximum impact. The SC-LX57 integrates an ESS Technology Inc. SABRE 32bit Ultra DAC, the industry’s benchmark for audio digital-to-analogue conversion, to reproduce music with unsurpassed fidelity. With an Audio Scaler on board even regular CD quality content can be upscaled up to 192 kHz/32 bit to create a “high-resolution” experience. The receiver plays back DSD files, high-resolution AIFF, Apple Lossless, WAV and FLAC files for which gapless playback is supported as well.
Enjoy playback in other rooms via HDZone, a Zone 2 HDMI out for routing either the same signal as the main zone or a separate source to a second zone via HDMI. On top of that you get a digital connection to connect the receiver with your iPod, iPhone, iPad or Android device (via MHL), and you can enjoy easy-to-operate worldwide internet radio (vTuner) and network streaming via DLNA or Apple AirPlay when you connect via LAN.

Improving audio
The Audio Scaler upscales your audio by expanding a two-channel digital signal to 32-bit to improve resolution and density, improving the sampling rate to 192kHz, reducing noise, and enhancing the characteristics of the digital signal to reproduce sound with a rich transient feeling.

Energy efficient settings
Use the ECO Mode to save energy. It analyses your sources in real time, adjusting power consumption accordingly to meet your needs, or you can choose the power-saving settings that are right for you. You can control ECO Mode using the receiver's front panel, the included remote control, or the ECO Manager page of Pioneer's free iControlAV2013 for your smartphone or tablet.
Loves your mobile devices
Connect your Apple device (via USB) or Android device (via MHL) directly to the receiver to view stored photos or videos. You can also stream directly from e.g. YouTube to your LCD TV. HTC Connect makes it easy to wirelessly stream your music straight from your HTC One phone.
Stream with ease
DLNA and AirPlay are widely supported on PCs, laptops, smartphones and other devices. As this receiver is DLNA and AirPlay certified, you can easily stream audio from such a device. Apple's AirPlay lets you stream music from your entire iTunes library.
The remote reinvented
iControlAV lets you modify all important receiver functions from your smartphone or tablet (iOS / Android). The 2013 version brings a new user interface and easy to navigate feature menu, as well as a dedicated “ECO MANAGER” page for energy efficient settings. PUSH PLAYER, Pioneer’s new music streaming setting, lets you access the music libraries stored on your device and create playlists that can be streamed wirelessly to the receiver, all from within the app.
4K Ultra HD pass through and upscaling
Experience real high definition with 4K ultra-high resolution video. The receiver is designed for the next generation 4K Ultra HD resolution standard, with the ability to pass through 4K video signals to compatible displays, offering the highest quality video image available. Multi-zone capabilities
All new receivers offer simultaneous entertainment in multiple zones – including a HDZone with a dedicated HDMI output to an additional room.
