Description

Experience power and style with PA D1000.1 PA 1000.1 Mono Amp 750 Watts. It is an amplifier that you always dreamed for your subwoofer, and because it is D-class design, it produces a lot of super-efficient power. A toroidal transformer helps keep the amplifier's sleek aluminium extruded design under 2-inch tall while ensuring plenty of clean and efficient power. A low THD, a high signal-to-noise ratio, plus wide bandwidth frequencies makes the PA D1000.1 a high performance monoblock for high performance bass. The super-efficient class D design runs much cooler than the conventional amplifiers. It offers thermal, DC offset, reverse polarity and short circuit protection. Nickel-plated wire terminals and RCA connectors ensure maximum signal transfer. Line level outputs provide a full range signal for easy connection to additional amplifiers.

About the Brand

Polk Audio is a recognized name in audiophile circles. It is reputed to manufacture supreme quality audio products, especially home and automobile speakers. The company also produces a wide range of other audio products such as amplifiers and FM tuners. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, Polk Audio was founded by Matthew Polk, George Klopfer and Sandy Gross in 1972. However, in 2006, the company was acquired by Directed Electronics. After spending a short period of time dabbling in Pro Audio, Polk Audio turned its attention to high end home audio. With the release of the first successful model in 1974, the Monitor 7, Polk Audio started to become a reputable name in the audio industry.
