DIGICON is a state-of-the-art product, extremely user friendly, micro controller based pump controller, suitable for a single phase pump-set of rating 0.5 HP to 3 HP and an ideal choice for domestic or any other single phase pump-set, it provides automation (Auto-Start, Auto-Stop) and at the same time provides protections.
DIGICON is the only product of its kind that offers DRY RUNNING without installing any sensor at the inlet of the pump and displays the exact fault & status on screen, provide protection against over-current, over-voltage etc. and resets itself automatically once the fault is gone. For every fault it not only flashes the fault on the LCD screen but also gives a beep sound on regular intervals till the fault is removed.
LCD screen displays status, faults and pump parameters like voltage, current, run status, auto-manual mode, Dry Run, Tank Full, No Water, Over Flow, High voltage, low voltage etc.
DIGICON’s unique features include one touch, one time AUTO calibration of pump’s current / voltage and provision to set the DRY RUN current automatically or manually, dry running duration can also be set automatically or manually as per the site requirements for example you may set the dry run duration of 6 secs, 15 secs or 30 secs etc.

How it works
Once DIGICON is installed and configured, it can be put to work either in AUTO mode or in MANUAL mode, we have explained here below its working for overhead tank filling system:
AUTO MODE
· DIGICON starts the pump-set when water level goes below the start level and stops it when water level reaches the upper level. While the pump-set is running a message “RUN” is displayed on the LCD screen and also the current drawn is shown on the screen. When the overhead tank gets filled, it stops the pump-set and a message “FULL” is displayed on the LCD screen.
· If the water goes or if there is no water in the supply line then it’ll stop the pump-set and a message “DRY RUN” is displayed on the LCD screen. The unit will restart the pump-set after 30 mins (this time can be increased or decreased as per the needs).
· When the overhead tank gets filled, it stops the pump-set and a message “FULL” is displayed on the LCD screen.
· If the voltage becomes high or low, DIGICON will stop the motor for 5 mins, flash a message “OVER V” or “UNDER V” and after a recovery time of 5 mins, it’ll restart the pump-set if the voltage is back to normal.
· If due to some reason the pump-set is drawing over current then DIGICON stops the pump-set and a message “OVER LOAD” is displayed on the LCD screen, the unit will restart the pump-set after a recovery time of 30 mins.
· If the pump-set is jammed or stalled due to some reason the current drawn exceeds 200%, in that situation the unit will instantly stop the pump-set from further damage and a message “STALLED” is displayed on the LCD screen.
· Whenever the pump-set stops due to some fault, the unit also gives a beep sound on regular intervals.
MANUAL MODE
· Pump-set runs when we press “START” button, while the pump-set is running a message “RUN” is displayed on the LCD screen and also the current drawn is shown on the screen. To stop press “STOP” button.
· If the water goes or if there is no water in the supply line then it’ll stop the pump-set and a message “DRY RUN” is displayed on the LCD screen. The unit will restart the pump-set after 30 mins (this time can be increased or decreased as per the needs).
· All other protections as explained in AUTO MODE are also available in MANUAL MODE, except that the pump-set once stopped, requires re-start manually.
