Quantum Theory is a third-person shooter video game developed by Team
Tachyon and published by Tecmo. The PlayStation 3 version of the game was
released in September 2010. The game centers around two characters named Syd
and Filena who must fight through a "living tower". The game features
a cover system that constantly adds and removes cover.
Experience Syd and Filena's adventurous ascent through a treacherous tower in
this action-shooter game, presented in an art nouveau style world that
is on the verge of becoming post-apocalyptic, which merges the beauty of
organic motifs with technology and action-packed gameplay. The game is a
third-person shooter incorporating a cover system. Players can fire their
weapon from the hip, aim down the sights for precision, or blindfire from
cover. Enemies explode upon death and a successful headshot is rewarded by a
slow motion close up view of the head exploding. Syd can throw Filena as a
projectile weapon. Syd can use his guns as melee weapons. Syd's initial melee
attack can also result in a follow up attack by Filena.
In a shape-shifting Battlefield, the player navigates through a dark
fantasy world where the intense battleground surprises with new and
challenging obstacles by changing its form in real-time. Enjoy two-Character
Combination Actions with Syd and Filena as they perform actions as a
pair-in some instances which in some cases is the only way to overcome hurdles.
Strategically perform combos for a more powerful, fierce attack against
colossal enemies. Featuring aesthetically pleasing gameplay environment,
radiant colours and the mixture of organic elements complements both
action and technology. The game also features Online Play and you can
continue your adventure with your friends in Team Battle and Battle Royale
modes.
