The Riester E-Mega Aneroid Sphygmomanometer has an innovative ergonomic spoon design that allows quick inflation of cuff to lessen patient discomfort. The E-mega has a 1 or 2 tube version that is attached to the Riester’s latex-free, washable 1-piece cuff. It also has a bladderless Velcro cuff in nylon that is reusable to 10000 times & is washable to 60°C. In terms of cleaning as well as disinfection of the 1-piece-cuff, it is a lot easier than any standard cuffs because you can immerse it completely in solution of alcohol disinfection after use, & that will help prevent contamination.
