The Prime - R16-S is a 6 inch 2-way component system designed to generate ground pounding music and stomping decibels. Now, you too can experience Rockford Fosgate sound quality at a fantastic price. This 2-Way Component Speaker System boasts of a peak power rating of 80 watts and 40 watts of continuous (RMS) power. With its ability to hand that much power, the Prime-R16 can generate a lot of bass. Furthermore, its cold rolled steel frame means that it should stand up to a number of years of use. The Prime - R16-S uses 1/ 2 inch (13mm) Mylar balanced dome tweeter with an in-line crossover that delivers crisp high frequency response, thereby giving you that clear sound that you have been looking for. The Prime - R16-S features a Mica injected polypropylene cone and a foam surround for increased excursion level, performance, quality, and strength. The kit includes two woofers with grilles, two tweeters with integrated crossovers and mounting hardware for easy installation (flush, surface, or angle mounting).
