This lens replaces the earlier version that was without an image stabilization feature. The optical stabilization in this SIGMA 2.8 EX DG OS HSM Lens works great to help you take distinct and well-focused photos with minimal effort. The lens is designed for use with full-frame SLR cameras. However, you can also use it with smaller sized APS-C sensors which give you a resultant increase in the focal length to 150 mm. You can also use this lens with Sigma APO Teleconverters.
