You can now proudly display your photographs for the whole world to see with the Sony DPF-A710 digital photo frame. This photo frame has a 7 inch LCD display screen with a resolution of 480 x 234 dot pixels. Images can be viewed in 16:10 aspect ratio. With the LED backlight of this Sony digital picture frame, you can enjoy your images while reducing your power consumption.

The Auto Orientation sensor of this Sony DPF-A710 will automatically rotate your photos into landscape or portrait format. The Sony digital frame has 128 MB internal storage capacity in which you can save up to 250 images.

Body and Power

This Sony digital photo frame weighs 344 g and has a sleek design. The rim of the photo frame has a bezel design and gives the Sony photo frame an elegant look. The control buttons of this Sony digital picture frame are on the back panel of the body.

The Sony DPF-A710 is powered by an AC power adaptor that can function in a voltage range of 100 - 240 V. The digital frame consumes 5 watts of power. With the multiple power On/Off settings, you can also save power and have the Sony digital frame switch off automatically.

Connectivity and Features

The Sony digital picture frame lets you watch images in JPEG, TIFF, BMP and RAW file formats. External storage devices that are compatible with this DPF-A710 are memory sticks like MagicGate MS Duo and MS PRO-HG Duo. Also compatible with this Sony digital picture frame are memory cards like Mini SDHC card and Micro SDHC card and MMC like RS-MMC and MMC Plus. With the USB Mini B-type high speed port, you can also connect flash drives and your computer to the Sony digital picture frame and download or view images from them.

Images can be seen individually or in slideshow mode with creative transition effects. You can scroll through the thumbnail view to pick the images you want to see. Manual rotation of image is also possible with the Sony DPF-A710. The Sony DPF-A720 has a Clock and Calendar feature, which can display the day and date with your images, brightening up your days immeasurably.

Product looks good, perfect for use on a table . However from a distance the photos are not clear albeit depends on the camera too. Led screen makes it bright to look at , easy to use . Battery option would be welcome ensuring its portability under all conditions .overall a good product can be looking at the price
