Super Paper Mario Wii is the newest chapter of the Paper Mario story. At first glance it appears to be a 2-D sidescroller ripped straight from the stylized pages of the Paper Mario universe, but it soon turns into a funny dimension, shifting platformer, possible only on Wii.
You can play in 2-D and change to 3-D anytime you want. You can run through vibrant 2-D worlds, stamping on enemies and breaking blocks, then just with the press of a button, you can flip into 3-D. In the 3rd dimension, you will find unknown paths, battle foes, and expose secrets as you explore the previously unseen depth of the 2-D landscapes. Unique Wii controls add thrill in your game. You can hold the Wii Remote sideways and control the game in classic Super Mario Bros. style. You can also shake the Wii Remote to pull off quick moves and break out of frigid ice and even point straight at the screen to get helpful hints from your sidekick. Moreover, you will also play as Peach and Bowser, both with their own sets of essential skills.
This adventure is full of fun. When a mysterious villain kidnaps Peach and Bowser and forces them to get married, their union generates a rift of dark energy that threatens to tear the universe apart. The hilarious characters, laugh-out-loud plot twists, and unforgettable dimensions waits as Mario makes his way through eight worlds, each extremely memorable than the previous one.
