Plot
Twenty years after a pandemic radically transformed the people of United States of America, infected humans run amuck and survivors kill one another for sustenance and weapons - literally whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a survivor, is hired to smuggle a fourteen-year-old girl, Ellie, out of a rough military quarantine, but what begins as a simple job quickly turns into a brutal journey across a post-apocalyptic world.
Game Mode
PS3 Last of Us has been created both in single and multi-player modes. While the single player mode tracks Joel through tough challenges and exciting adventures in a post-apocalyptic world. In the online multiplayer mode, up to eight players engage in co-operative and competitive gameplay in recreations of single-player settings
Gameplay
The Last of US by Sony is viewed in a third person perspective. Players have to traverse post-apocalyptic towns, buildings and sewers to advance through the games stages. Players can use fire arms and weapons to defend themselves from hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by the mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. While players control Joel through most of the game, players can also control the little girl Ellie in the games winter segment.
