The hardware version is V2. It works only with Tata Photon Plus. Doesn't work with Reliance Netconnect ZTE AC 2738.

The power button need to be slide in certain way else the the power led blinks but wifi does not start. I believe it does not power up the dongle well. As in poor network are it could not connect to mts data card but in same are micromax 440 did well

Please do not buy it. Its wifi signal not good.

This product (TP-Link 150 Mbps 3G/4G Wireless Router) is a superb, high-tech product, in my opinion. It's compact, light-weight and easy to carry. The rechargeable battery inside enables it to be used outdoors and also when the mains power is off. It has 3 modes of operation (3G/4G Router, WISP (or,Wireless Internet Service Provider) and Travel Mode), which makes it flexible&versatile so that it can support pratcically any wireless network configuration used today. You can share your PC's wireless internet connection (broadband) with other devices in your house such as mobile phone, laptop & tablet. Alternatively you can share a WISP connection among mutliple wireless enabled devices. You can also use it as a powerful Internet connection for your laptop/tablet, when you travel, by connecting your PC's dongle (say) to it and carrying it along with your tablet/laptop. I was able to use it to substitute a router 2 times in price (i.e., over Rs.4000/=).

It does not recognize easily the 3g data cards. After trying with the help of tp link support also i could not do it. It is better to go and check the tplink india website before buying.

I am very much satisfied with this product. Its working fine with very good signal strength and battery backup.

once the firmware was updated, i now can use my Reliance netconnet 3G dongle with out any issue.
