Got is about a week ago. The best part is versatility. It can scan books, documents, negatives, single sheets, anything. But it can't scan the mounted slides. You can adjust the resolution as per your need. It is very convenient to make jpg or pdf images suited to your requirement. The quick buttons are really quick and very sensitive. You can make it lie flat on the bed, good for scanning bulky items. It you wish to scan single sheets or photos, you can make it stand like a photo frame saving a lot of space. The stand is sturdy and in built safety of the scanner cover does not make it imbalanced while inserting documents. No jumble of wires or requirement of additional power supply. One USB connection is all that is needed. The supplied software is great, drivers for Mac or Windows is superb. No download required if you have to switch between the two OSs. The software supplied can do a great job of adjusting the resolution, colour or contrast. Crop manually or auto crop of photographs is also available. Truly a professional thing to acquire save for the mounted slides, it can do anything that you wish to do with a scanner. I had multifunction devices: copier/scanner/printer earlier, though not bad but this device is truly professional in the dying era of scanners.
