About the Author
Lowell Hart has a B.A. in Music Education from the University of Washington, and an M.R.E. from Western Baptist Seminary. He has been a performer, teacher and conductor of vocal and instrumental groups, and an adjudicator. As a choir director, he held positions in both public and private schools, including several years on the faculty of Prairie Bible College. His groups won many honors and awards. His choir won the Leslie Bell Memorial Trophy as the most outstanding vocal group in the national competition at the Canadian Music Educators' Association Conference. Throughout his career, he and his wife played French horn together in ensembles and orchestras, including the Vancouver (USA) Symphony, where he also served as assistant conductor.
