Foxtail millet is high in carbohydrates. It is rich in dietry fiber and minerals such as copper & iron. Foxtail millet is regarded as a native of China, it is one of the world’s oldest cultivated crops. Known from the Yang- Shao culture period dating back about 5000 years. To Europe it came in Bronze Age. Foxtail millet was grown as a first crop on forest clearings.
