My advice to readers is to do what Bernie says."--Berenice O'Farrell
"Over the years Bernie has developed a reputation for his skill as a massage therapist... In my mind there is no doubt that the publication will assist many readers in their own lives."--David M. R. Levestam
About the Author
Bernie Searle was born in London in 1934. In 1950, at age 16, he migrated to Sydney under the Big Brother Scheme. Since then, Searle has held a variety of jobs, mainly in NSW. In 1978 he became a qualified masseur. Searle joined the Association of Remedial Masseurs (ARM) in 1980, and the Australian Traditional Medicine Society at its inaugural meeting in 1984. In order to join their daughters, Searle and his wife moved to the Gold Coast, Queensland in 1987, where he volunteered his massage services to Keebra Park Special School for the severely mentally and physically challenged children. Though he resigned in the late 1990s from both ARM & ATMS, he continues to massage.
