God of War: Chains of Olympus is a third-person action and adventure video game published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Based on Greek mythology this is the fourth installment in the God of War series, the second chronologically and a prequel to the original God of War.Synopsis & Feautures:
The central idea of this series is vengeance, keeping up with the motive of the globally acclaimed God of War series. The player gets to control Kratos, a Spartan warrior and the protagonist of the game. Kratos who is at the service of the Olympian Gods is ordered by goddess Athena to find the Sun God Helios, because in Helios’ absence the Dream God Morpheus has put many of the gods to sleep.
Morpheus and Persephone (Queen of the Underworld), with the aid of the Titan Atlas and by using the power of the sun conspire to destroy the Pillar of the World and in turn bring down Olympus. Kratos manages to bring in control Atlas by chaining him to the Pillar, kills Persephone in battle and saves Helios, returns the sun to the sky forcing Morpheus to accept defeat.USP:
God of War: Chains of Olympus is a display of highly detailed graphics and realistic animation. The game is a single-player mode making it a brilliant combat video game and it comes with plenty of weapons including Blades of Chaos and magic. Player can even collect red orbs that can be used for upgrading weapon combos and with each unlocked combo, a new way of destruction opens up paving the way to defeat an enemy.
