Description

The Immortals of Meluha is the first novel of the Shiva trilogy series by Amish Tripathi. It was published by Westland Publishers in 2011. Later, it was translated into 14 different languages.

Synopsis

The Immortals of Meluha takes you to a mythological journey with its own twists and turns. It is primarily set in and around Meluha, which is a near perfect empire that was created by Lord Ram many centuries ago. This once proud empire and its Suryavanshi rulers are facing severe perils as its primary river, the revered Saraswati. The river is slowly drying to extinction and the empire is suffering because of it.

Meluha is also facing devastating terrorist attacks from the land of the Chandravanshis. To make matters worse, the Chandravanshis appear to have allied with the Nagas, an ostracised and sinister race of deformed humans with astonishing martial skills.

The only hope for the Suryavanshis is an ancient legend, a hero that will save their land. Is Shiva really that hero?
