Excerpt from Mr. Webster's Speech on the Greek Revolution
ON the 8th of December, 1828, Mr. Webster pre sented, in the House of Representatives, the follow ing resolution: Resolved, That provision ought to be made, by law, for defraying the expense incident to the apo pointment of an Agent or Commissioner to Greece, whenever the President shall deem inexpedient to make such appointment.
