About the Author
Along with guest starring on the legendary Tonight Show with Jay Leno a total of six times, John Wing Jr. has also played at nine Just For Laughs comedy festivals, five Winnipeg Comedy Festivals, and has over 150 television appearances. One of his best known appearances was on season 8 of America's Got Talent in 2013, during which he remained in the competition until the semi-finals. John can currently be heard on CBC radio's show The Debaters. In 2012 he created, co-wrote, and took part in performing a CBC radio sitcom Man, Woman, & Child. John Wing Jr.'s previous books include Cup of Nevermind: New Poems (1998), --And the Fear Makes Us Special (2000), None of This is Probably True (2002), Ventriloquism for Dummies: Life as a Comedian (2002), Excuses: Poems (2005), The Winter Palace: New and Selected Poems (2007), So Recently Ancient (2010), and Almost Somewhere Else (2012).
