Steam Features
The Philips GC1115 steam iron has a water tank capacity of 150 ml with a level indication of maximum water that can be poured. It is advised to stop pouring water once it reaches the maximum level marking as it may lead to leakage of water. The Fine spray function of this Philips iron helps moisten the fabric evenly making it easier to iron out wrinkles.
This Philips device features three kinds of steam settings with continuous steam output of 15 g/m. The Philips GC1115 has a self-clean calc management system which comes with calc clean solution that is suitable for tap water. The calc clean solution is a liquid which prevents the scale build-up in the iron and thereby prolongs the life of the iron.
Safety and Power
This steam iron needs a power supply of 220 V and consumes a maximum power of 1200 W. The Temperature-ready light in the Philips GC1115 steam iron indicates when the iron has reached the required temperature and is ready to use.
Note: To avoid leakage of water through the steam vents, please fill the water tank, switch off the steam and plug in. Once the iron is heated for 20-30 seconds the steam can be switched on.
