The Quechua Shoes offer enhanced comfort while hiking. These shoes provide enhanced stability and grip while climbing and walking. The breathable nova dry membrane helps keep your feet dry. Founded in 1997, Quechua is a leading mountain sports brand. The brand manufactures premium apparel and equipment for hiking, trail running, adventure racing, climbing and mountaineering. The products from Quechua are known for their exceptional designs and reliability. Traction: 5 mm lugged Essensole rubber sole for good traction. Cushioning: Full-foot EVA midsole: durable and high-performance. Waterproof: Breathable and waterproof Novadry membrane keeps your feet dry. Fit: High upper with two hooks on top provide excellent support on any terrain. Light weight: 488 g per shoe in size 8. Footwear waterproofing test: Tested both in the lab and real-world usage, Novadry equipped footwear guarantees optimum waterproofing and breathability. First, the shoe is immersed in water while internal air pressure is applied to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the footwear. shoes are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking, half immersed in water so we can test that the inside remains perfectly dry. 3 levels of waterproofing: During the waterproofing test, we test 3 levels of waterproofing: 2000 flexes (around 2 hours of walking), 4000 flexes (around 4 hours of walking) and 8000 flexes (around 8 hours of walking). Gradually start using you shoes during your first few hiking trips to break them in. Guarantee: 2 Years. Care and Maintenance: Use the brush and/or sponge to clean the shoe and remove dirt or mud residue. The use of cream or waterproof grease on split leather is not recommended. While it will not damage the leather, it will change the look of your shoe.Re-waterproof regularly using specific spray products for synthetics.
