Synopsis
This novel is the second part of the Shiva Trilogy which presents the Indian god Shiva in a new and different light. The author Amish Tripathi has used historical and geographical connections as the foundation of his fictional story, which revolves around the character of Shiva, who is in search of peace. In this final book, Shiva learns about the evils of Somras and how it threatens the existence of Brahmaputra. To prevent further troubles, Shiva wages a war against the kingdom of Meluha and thus the trilogy reaches its climax. The battle against Meluha would test the skill and power of Shiva, as the kingdom is known for its fierce battling abilities. Will Shiva be able to bring down Meluha? Will he be able to prevent the evil consequences of Somras?

About the Author
Amish Tripathi, after completing his education from IIT Calcutta, spent some years in the corporate world and later took up his passion for writing. His book series The Shiva Trilogy has become a monumental commercial success and has made Amish a famous Indian author.
