Description

Bhimseni camphor is used in ayurvedic medicine since ancient time. It is heavier than Chinese camphor and sinks in water easily. It is also called as Borneo or Barus camphor. Any edible camphor which is derived from tree /plant/weeds is called Pacha Kapoor. Since Bhimseni kapoor is derived from tree named Cinnamomum Camphora or Kapoor tree it is also Pacha i.e edible camphor. You can easily use it for cooking and sweet making purposes. Bhimseni Camphor has a unique position in the Hindu tradition of pooja, other festive function and traditional law.The burning camphor has a special quality and, naturally, has a special meaning. It is pure white in color, and when burned acquires the huge fire (Agni)and burn completely, without leaving any residue. WHY PRAY WITH CAMPHOR : As per our holy scriptures, pure camphor symbolises union with god as it burns completely, leaving behind no trace. Pure Camphor aarti dispels negativity, brings positivity, keeps one healthy and attracts prosperity. Bhimseni camphor is used in ayurvedic medicine since ancient time. It is heavier than camphor and sinks in water easily. It is also called as Borneo or Barus camphor. Camphor is burnt to perform Aarti (circular movement or display of the lamp in reverence before the deity or the idol) before the deity. Just as God rotates the sun and the moon around you, you imitate the same and thus offer and move the camphor lamp before God to bring joy to you. This is also to express the prayer that the light of our life should never go astray from God and should always be centered and revolve around God. It is with this deep feeling that you perform aarti. The breathing of Aarti wakes up the Chakras, some say. The smoke from these balls purify the entire atmosphere. This Camphor can be used in various camphor diffusers, kapur dani, in wardrobe, in puja havan. Used in hindu occasions and puja.
