During the Great War, the 31st Duke of Connaught's Own Lancers remained on the North West Frontier of India.

This Painting is made by Mr. Tilak Gitai who is a renowned artist from Jaipur, India and has got many prestigious awards & recognition in India & abroad for his work. India has been the home of arts and crafts since primitive times and painting is no exception to this fact. Indians knew the art of painting since prehistoric times.
