Taparia Digital Electric Tester with Neon Bulbs MDT 82-Overview Taparia multipurpose digital line tester is a tool used to test a live/phase/hot wire or conductor from outside, to measure the voltage and also to check break point of an insulator. It is also called as a test pin. The digital tester will display the voltage. By pressing the upper button, one can know the DC voltage. To know the phase line, the tester is placed on the PVC insulation of the wire and a flash is displayed on the screen. To know the break point, the tester is placed on the outside of the PVC insulation of the wire, the breakpoint is known at the place where the screen stops the display of the flash. Materials and Finish This excellent digital line tester has a cylindrical metal rod which is insulated in plastic covering, the end of the rod except the mouth is also covered with plastic for safety purpose. There is a resistor to oppose the flow of current through it.
