About the Book
This is a tale with two stories... set at 2 different points in time ... about 4 changing lives... and how in the end everything comes together as 1...The first story speaks of Hannah- a special education teacher, and AJ- a playboy ramp model. Being a self-confessed man-hater, it wasn't difficult for Hannah to resist AJ's charms. But AJ is not about to give up. This is exactly the kind of challenge he craves and of course the good publicity he'll get by dating a regular girl won't be bad either. AJ has done about everything to be in Hannah's good graces. Will he succeed in making Hannah's man-hating heart take that leap of faith? If so, how will she react when she finds out AJ's romantic ways are all an act... Or is it? And what happens when AJ's "the-one-that-got-away" has somehow found a detour back into his life...? The second story tells of Nicole and Jacob, two eligible Christians who've been acquainted all their lives. Nicole has been secretly in love with Jacob for years and has almost lost all hope of existing in his eyes until one summer where a church project finally brings them together. Everything seems to be falling into place... only if Jacob's best friend Simon wasn't in love with Nicole... and only if Jacob's first love hadn't returned to town... In the end, each of these lives turns upside down in a surreal twist of fate... with an unexpected conclusion that is decided by whether they will go with it or fight against it.... Fate that is.
