Renaissance Mumbai Hotel

I have had a dinner buffet at Renaissance earlier without the discount. The buffet offered under the discount is restricted - for instance it doesn't include coffee after the dinner. The staff was also prejudiced and I did not feel welcome.
It was very embarrasing as I was treating someone.

I wanted to give a treat to my family and thus ended up taking 7 vouchers. The ambiance was good however the staff were a little laid back after they came to know that I got snap deal coupon. They never explained what comes in the buffet especially there was no considerations for non drinkers (we were served with 2 pints of beer when we informed that we have that in our snap deal booking).
I was surprised that they were not ready with their starters on the buffet and informed that they dont keep that on buffet but will service that on request. It took them 30 mins to bring a small plate of fish fingers. When we said that we dont want fish we were told that it is the only item served as starters.
On a whole it did not live up to the image of a 5 star hotel

Took this offer from Snapdeal and landed at Renaissance, Powai on a hot weekday afternoon.

Was surprised to see a good amount of crowd, considering it was a monday. The buffet was a typical one, though what i really liked was the dessert spread. Delicious!

A good experience overall, and definitely money's worth.

Not everyone drinks beer...Found it silly that a coke or two could not be thrown into such a lovely buffet..spoiled the experience to grapple with waiters for a paltry iced tea...made me grumpy! Food was awesome.

Wide Buffet Spread and its seriously a deal when you get it in half the listed price. Should be great for Romantic couples. Try for Lunch Buffet and do get your table reserved facing lake view.
